Foundations & skin types 101 The right foundation is a key to perfect makeup look. You can add blush,bronzer or highlight but if your foundation looks cakey or it’s not the right color,you are out of luck. There are many foundations out there but I’m here to help you find the right one for you! First of all you will need to figure out what is your skin type. Are you oily/combination or dry? Well if your skin is oily you should most likely go for a matte or a semi matte foundation. If you are dry then your best bet is a dewy foundation. Now to prepping your skin, always, always moisturize before applying your makeup especially if you have a very dry skin. You don’t want any dry patches because that will literally make you look like a lizard. The goal is to have a natural glow and healthy skin so staying hydrated is important. There is nothing better than warm tones on a cold winter day. That is why I decided to put on little bit of color to warm my day up :)  I usually always put on my Maybelline mattefying primer as a base. Then i add my foundation which in this case was Maybelline Fit me in shade porcelain. After i blend it in you should always add concealer to have little bit of more coverage. At least that's what i like. To set it all in i prefer to use loose setting powder, add bronzer, blush and of course HIGHLIGHT! At the moment my favorite drugstore highlighter is by MILANI called; Strobe light 01 After Gow. The year of 2017 was full of new products. Many companies decided to finally add different types of shades in foundations. FINALLY! I personally think this is great especially since everyone loves to wear makeup and no one should be punished by not being able to buy a shade for their skin color.
